Enve’s journey into bike manufacturing began back in 2018, when the company quietly laid the groundwork for what would eventually become the ‘Custom Road’ project—officially unveiled in March 2021. Their debut frame and complete bike took many by surprise, not because of flashy tech, but due to its distinctly boutique approach: handcrafted in the U.S. in limited quantities, channeling the spirit of steel and titanium custom builds rather than high-volume production. Yet for those familiar with Enve’s history—especially its partnerships with Independent Fabrications, Cervelo, and Santa Cruz—this step into full bike design felt less like a surprise and more like a long-anticipated next chapter. After years of building a reputation for high-end wheels, forks, and components, expanding into frames seemed almost destined.

Enve Fray All Road

The Fray is Enve’s answer to the modern endurance road bike—fast, responsive, and comfortable enough for big days in the saddle. Bridging the gap between racing and all-day riding, it offers geometry that balances stability with agility, along with room for up to 38mm tires. Built for tarmac, chipseal, and the occasional detour onto gravel, the Fray invites you to go longer, ride harder, and take the scenic route home.
