How do Pas Normal Studios men’s sizes work?

Pas Normal Studios sizes its men’s cycling clothing by body measurements: chest around the fullest part, waist around the slimmest, plus hip and thigh, all in the size guide on this page (for example, M is 96–101 cm chest and 82–87 cm waist). The same chart covers PNS jerseys, bibs and jackets. PNS’s race-fit lines are cut close to the body for the riding position.

How should I care for Pas Normal Studios cycling clothing?

PNS recommends a pre-wash before first use, then washing inside out with zips closed, on a gentle 30 °C cycle with low spin and a non-bio detergent. No bleach, fabric softener, tumble dryer or hot iron: let it air dry, and don’t mix light and dark colours. The garment label is the final reference.

Wind and water protection

To protect you from rain, wind and road spray, the Deep Winter Bibs uses a combination of fully dyed 3-layer and 2-layer fabrics with added DWR treatment.

Chamois

The four-layer chamois pad has been specifically designed to ensure lasting performance and comfort. The quick-drying, antimicrobial membranes ensure you stay cool and fresh at your critical contact point with the bike to reduce friction and prevent the build-up of humidity.

Articulated Knee

The Deep Winter Long Bibs are constructed with an articulated knee section to improve comfort and reduce chafing and bulking of fabric behind the knee when riding.

Raised Front Panels

To give extra warmth on a wet or cold ride PNS have cut the front part of the bib tights high. This reduces the risk of wind passing through as well as adding an extra layer of protection.

Reflective Details

To keep you riding safely through the darker months, the bib tights are finished with reflective details. The extra visibility created from reflective strips on the legs helps you to be seen in traffic.

Straps

Soft and low-profile shoulder straps combined with a mesh back panel keeps the bib tights in place.
