Javier Campllonch founded Velodrom in 2013. Before starting the business, he worked in investment banking in London, developing trading applications at Morgan Stanley and HSBC.
David Mateu joined the project in 2018 after working at Probike. He brought a commercial background in cycling retail to the business.
