GameChanger 2.0 or AirBreaker 2.0?

Both are ABUS race helmets developed with professional riders. The GameChanger 2.0 is the aero one: a wider rear, an AeroBlade with a grid structure that adapts to speed and crosswind, and the AirBoost inlet — 265 g in size M. The AirBreaker 2.0 is the lightweight, ventilated one: large vents, an AeroBlade in carbon-injected material, 215 g in M. Flat, fast racing favours the GameChanger; long climbs and heat favour the AirBreaker.

Forced Air Cooling

The vents are linked by internal channels that pull incoming air through the helmet and around the head, rather than letting it simply pass over it. On the GameChanger 2.0 an AirBoost inlet at the front feeds the system.

ActiCage

A structural reinforcement foamed into the EPS. ABUS uses it to keep the helmet stable while cutting larger vents than the foam alone could support — more air, same strength.

Description

The original GameChanger, the aero helmet ABUS developed with Team Movistar. Its Multi Position Design reduces drag by minimising exposed surfaces whatever the head tilt and wind angle, and Forced Air Cooling pulls air around the head. 270 g in size M; the GameChanger 2.0 is its successor.
