Which Macator size should I choose?

ABUS gives S 51–55 cm, M 52–58 cm and L 58–62 cm head circumference. The large M range and the full-ring adjuster make it easy to fit.

Macator or Macator MIPS?

Same shell, peak and bug mesh. The MIPS adds Mips impact protection and weighs a little more (320 g vs 300 g in size M, per ABUS).

Can I remove the Macator’s peak?

Yes — ABUS lists it as a clip-on peak.
