What is Assos’s Racing Series?

Assos files Equipe (men) and Dyora (women) in its Racing Series, which it describes like this: “The definitive speed series. Second-skin aerodynamic fits. Compressive thermoregulating textiles. Ultralight WorldTour-proven designs.” The series name is on every Assos product page, next to the product’s own 1–5 ratings for endurance, racing and ride intensity.

racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

Assos’s racingFit is a second-skin, aerodynamic silhouette designed with WorldTour feedback and proven with WorldTour results. Compressive textiles, micro-adjusted shaping, and low-bulk, raw-cut hems and cuffs identify racingFit as the definitive speed series.

Featured fabrics

The open 3D knit miniCheck Tex provides high breathability, high elasticity, UPF 25, and the signature ASSOS jersey texture across the front. The pockets are anchored by a rear panel of Stabilizer V11, which provides hypercooling breathability and is so lightweight (UPF 15) that Assos recommend applying sunscreen beneath it. It also reinforces stability, preventing sag and movement when pockets are loaded. The sleeves feature the new 550CX warp-knit textile, which provides UPF 35 protection and a muscle-wrapping, bistretch fit with inherent aerodynamic properties.

Raw Cut & Bonded

Sleeves, hem, and zipper are all raw cut and bonded, eliminating transitional ridges and maintaining clean, elegant lines throughout the jersey’s construction.

Triple Ramp Pockets

Flexible fabric panels sewn into the pockets create “lids,” securing and stabilizing the contents while protecting against precipitation or road spray.

PILtec Plug-In

The rear hem features a lightweight, ultrabreathable textile band with a microdot silicone treatment that stabilizes the jersey’s back panel and maintains grip while wet.

A racing jersey engineered for the EF Pro Cycling Team to meet the demands of WorldTour racing. Ultralight textiles, extreme breathability, and a second-skin, aerodynamic fit. The EF Pro Cycling Team is built to go beyond, so Assos engineered the RS Jersey S11 to go with them. The silver seams and numeric details recall the suits worn during the first spaceflights, and the team takes that theme of global unity a step further with the jersey title: WE RIDE IN PEACE. The team’s graphics and aspirational messaging are emblazoned on Assos’s RS S11 platform, including a sleeve construction that’s lighter than the previous textile without compromising on the compressive, second-skin fit. The new material is also textured for aerodynamic gains while in aggressive riding positions, reducing drag on the body’s leading edge. The main body of miniCheck Tex is the same as the predecessor, providing ultralight, ultrabreathable comfort and body-wrapping, compressive support, and it’s anchored at the rear hem by the new PILtec Plug-In technology, which pairs an ultralight strip of textile with silicone microdots to stabilize fit while climbing, sprinting, or cornering – even while wet.
