What is Assos’s Endurance Series?

Assos files Mille (men) and Uma (women) in its Endurance Series, which it describes like this: “The complete endurance series. Streamlined regular fits. Ultraplush inserts. Muscle-wrapping thermoregulating textiles.” The series name is on every Assos product page, next to the product’s own 1–5 ratings for endurance, racing and ride intensity.

racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

Featured fabrics

CORE Light is part of the new CORE softshell family, the successor of Assos’s AIRBLOCK-EVO family. It combines a four-way stretch warp-knit, a breathable membrane, and an ECO water-repellent treatment to shield against precipitation and wind while expelling internal moisture with a silky-soft lining. LITHIUM Medium is a highly breathable, highly elastic insulator with a grid texture that actively expels moisture and modulates internal temperature. SENS Air Plus is an ultra-breathable, lightweight warp knit that actively modulates internal temperature.

Double Slide Zipper

A two-slider construction that allows easy access to pockets and ventilation from top or bottom.

Raw Cut

Race-inspired construction that eliminates hems and ridges on the armholes for clean lines, boosted aerodynamics, and low-volume layering.

When to use it

For cool, wet, and variable conditions, pair with the MILLE GT Spring Fall Jersey C2 and MILLE GTS Spring Fall Bib Shorts S11. For more challenging conditions, combine with additional ASSOSOIRES layers.

Description

A versatile layering essential for cool, wet, and variable conditions, updated with a new softshell textile and a body-mapped, highly elastic fit that eliminates flapping material without restrictive pressure. The GTS Vest S11 unlocks three-season layering versatility. Its breathable construction and targeted protection add warmth to rainy summer rides, and its stormproof and thermoregulating qualities protect against the cool, wet conditions of the shoulder seasons. The new CORE Light softshell situates a waterproof, windproof membrane across the shoulders and chest, supported by the high stretch and midweight insulation of LITHIUM Medium across the belly. The combination yields complete protection on your body’s leading edge with a restriction-free fit across the stomach. Raw-cut cuffs eliminate volume for layering over the GT Spring Fall Jersey C2, and a lightweight, extremely breathable rear panel modulates internal temperature to prevent overheating in variable conditions.

CORE Light is part of the new CORE softshell family, the successor of Assos’s AIRBLOCK-EVO family.
