Made for e-bikes up to 50 km/h: Continental combines its SafetySystem Breaker with a highly flexible natural rubber. It says the result is an extremely cut- and puncture-resistant breaker with low rolling resistance thanks to its elasticity, which easily absorbs high acceleration torque and fast cornering — its specialist for fast e-bikes and rental bikes.

E-bike approval

Continental draws on more than 100 years of moped and motorcycle tyres for its e-bike tyres. Tyres marked E25 are approved for e-bikes up to 25 km/h; those marked E50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs up to 50 km/h. Continental says their structure gives high puncture protection and low rolling resistance, and protects against the premature wear caused by the extra driving force.
