How does the Pluvia 2.0 fit — should I size up to wear it over layers?

It is a Perfect Fit (close but not race-tight) jacket on a new, roomier pattern with long sleeves and anatomical cuffs. Gobik’s product page currently marks it as running large and recommends one size smaller, so don’t size up by default.

Both are ultralight LIGHTSHELL rain shells with sealed seams, silicone-reinforced shoulders, a sealed SBS zip, a drop tail and reflective details, 100 g in M per Gobik. The 2.0 adds a redesigned, more comfortable pattern, side and rear ventilation openings and a glossy finish for visibility, and Gobik rates it for light to moderate rain; the original packs into its own inner mesh pocket and is pitched at wind and occasional light rain.

Is the Pluvia 2.0 a full winter rain jacket?

No — it is a shell for changeable weather: descents, mountain passes and long spring or autumn rides in wind and light to moderate rain. Gobik gives it a 10–18 °C use range and rates it 3/5 for rain and wind protection and 1/5 for insulation, so layer underneath when it is cold.

How do I wash a Gobik rain jacket?

Gobik’s care instructions: cold water, neutral detergent, no fabric softener; wash inside out with zips and Velcro closed, in a laundry bag on a delicate or low-spin programme; dry inside out in the shade; no soaking, wringing, ironing or dry cleaning. Gobik also warns that backpack or bag straps rubbing the fabric cause wear that its warranty does not cover.
