How many Gummy Bars per hour?

Each 45 g gummy bar has 37 g of carbohydrate at a 1:0.5 ratio, so two per hour is 74 g. Santa Madre says the formula suits strategies of up to 100 g per hour; add a drink or gel to reach higher amounts.

Gummy bar or gel?

The gummy bar gives more carbohydrate per piece (37 g vs 30 g in the 30CHO gel) and something to chew. The gel is liquid and, per Santa Madre, low-density, so there is nothing to chew when you are breathing hard.

OFF CAF or 100 CAF — which should I take?
