Is Smooth Seal fork oil?

No. X-Sauce says it is for external use only — on stanchions and seals of forks, shocks and dropper posts. To lubricate a suspension internally, always use the oil its manufacturer recommends.

How do I apply Smooth Seal?

X-Sauce’s method: wipe the seal area with a clean cloth; put a couple of drops on each stanchion (fork, shock or dropper) and let them run down around the seal; cycle the suspension or dropper several times; let it dry.

How often, and how much?

X-Sauce recommends every 2–3 rides, two drops per stanchion/seal. More is worse: excess lube attracts dirt, which harms the seal more than the lube helps — that’s why it comes in a small 30 ml bottle.
