What is Assos’s Endurance Series?

Assos files Mille (men) and Uma (women) in its Endurance Series, which it describes like this: “The complete endurance series. Streamlined regular fits. Ultraplush inserts. Muscle-wrapping thermoregulating textiles.” The series name is on every Assos product page, next to the product’s own 1–5 ratings for endurance, racing and ride intensity.

racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

Featured fabrics

The main body textile is AirCell, an ultralight circular knit with an open hexagon pattern for extreme cooling breathability. AirCell’s bistretch qualities provide elastic, body-wrapping stretch and support, and engineered odorControl maintains freshness during high-intensity efforts. The sleeves feature a new textile, Eclipse, a lightweight warp knit with ultrasoft skin feel and UPF 50+. The ultralight Stabilizer V11 back panel reduces pocket sag, even when fully loaded.

The sleeves feature a lie-flat construction adapted from the Racing Series for an ultra-low profile that enhances aerodynamics.

A lightweight jersey for daily cycling, the core of Assos’s endurance comfort series evolves with an even lighter, even more breathable construction and a simplified – yet still ample and secure – pocket system. The latest GT Jersey is an everyday staple, engineered to keep you cool, dry, and well supplied on every ride – day after day, season after season. The body textile, AirCell, is the same as the previous generation, but the sleeves now feature Eclipse, a new, impossibly light, and highly elastic textile that wraps your arms in soft, cooling support. The simplified pocket construction still features Assos’s cargo-securing ramp design, but the lines are cleaner and the seam count is reduced. In addition to the new spectrum of colorways, the GT S11 EVO also inherits an updated ASSOS logo, first debuted on the Racing Series. Please note: The GT Jersey S11 EVO is so lightweight that Assos recommend sunscreen beneath the body panels.
