What is Assos’s Endurance Series?

Assos files Mille (men) and Uma (women) in its Endurance Series, which it describes like this: “The complete endurance series. Streamlined regular fits. Ultraplush inserts. Muscle-wrapping thermoregulating textiles.” The series name is on every Assos product page, next to the product’s own 1–5 ratings for endurance, racing and ride intensity.

racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

C2 AEPD regularFit is based on Assos’s performance race models but tuned for comfort with a zeroPressure Waist and a standard leg length.

Featured fabrics

The Volkano body textile provides silky-smooth elasticity, compression, and UPF 50+. Odor control and active cooling are permanently integrated into the material itself, not applied as a topical treatment. The ClickFit textile wraps the front of the waist in lighter, more breathable, and more elastic support, accommodating aggressive bar drop and deep breathing during hard efforts.

Bisiclick

Twin magnetic closures anchor the lower bib straps. Intuitive to connect and release, but secure enough to prevent unintentional unclasping.

X-Frame

An A-frame suspension inherited from DYORA RS. Limits sag on the lower back, stabilizing the insert and main body panel during high-intensity riding.

rollBar

A patented bracing design that stabilizes the insert and locks it in place as your weight transfers while sprinting, climbing, and cornering.

The insert is attached at front and rear with floating sides and center, letting it move with your body rather than against it. Cut-outs on wings reduce volume and friction.

Perforations strategically distributed throughout the insert, creating a whirlwind of cooling airflow instead of just a unidirectional breeze.

Assos: measure around the fullest part of your hips, then factor in your height. Assos apparel is cut to mirror your body on the bike — it’s normal to feel bib straps and fabric pull while standing; in the riding position the garment clicks into place.

Chest: around the fullest part, under the arms. Waist: around your natural waistline. Hips: around the fullest part. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

The waist incorporates a lighter textile with more body-wrapping elasticity, adding a supportive fit without restriction across all riding positions. The new insert features two layers of shock-absorbing foam, with targeted support under the ischial bones. Two additional cut-ins reduce bulk at the front of the insert, letting it conform to the body throughout the pedal stroke without folding or impediment.
