Which derailleurs work with the 10-50T gravel cassette?

SRAM XPLR AXS derailleurs (Apex, Rival, Force) run the 10-48T straight away; the 10-50T needs Garbaruk's cage and pulley kit. SRAM AXS road derailleurs (RED, Force, Rival 12-speed) top out at 36T stock and need the Garbaruk kit. Shimano GRX 822 works with the long cage (SGS) or a Garbaruk cage (Garbaruk).

Which chain does a Garbaruk gravel cassette need?

SRAM Flattop chains only: 12-speed Flattop (including T-Type) for the 12-speed gravel cassettes, and 12/13-speed Flattop for the 13-speed XPLR cassette. Garbaruk says the 10-44T is not compatible with SRAM Eagle, Shimano, KMC or YBN chains.

Do I need a spacer for an XDR freehub?

Yes. The cassettes are XD, and each one ships with a 1.8 mm Garbaruk spacer for XDR road freehubs (Garbaruk).

Monoblock steel cassette

Garbaruk mills the steel cogs from a single piece of heat-treated chromoly steel and adds one aluminium largest sprocket, which saves weight and can be replaced when worn.

GEN 2.0 shifting

Garbaruk's GEN 2.0 cassettes have precision-machined shift ramps and refined tooth profiles for faster, smoother shifts under load, quieter running and reliable back-pedalling.

CNC-machined 7075 aluminium

Cages, pulleys and cassette large cogs are CNC-machined from 7075-T651 aluminium and anodized in eight colours: black, blue, gold, green, orange, red, silver and violet (Garbaruk). Garbaruk makes everything at its headquarters near Kraków, Poland.

Garbaruk's 12-speed GEN2.0 gravel cassette gives 500% range (10-12-14-16-18-21-24-28-32-36-42-50) for XD/XDR freehubs at 335 g ±2%, which Garbaruk calls the lightest gravel option in its class. It has 11 steel cogs milled from one piece plus a 50T aluminium cog. SRAM XPLR derailleurs need Garbaruk's cage and pulley kit for the 50T.
