Are the Eclipse, Solar and Void Pro Race jerseys the same jersey?

Yes. On maap.cc all three are the Pro Race Jersey with a different capsule design: same fabric (85% recycled polyester and 15% elastane in the body, a stretch polyester sleeve), the same 150–151 g and the same features. MAAP updated the product copy for the 2026 Void colours, but lists no construction change.

How does MAAP sizing run? Should I size up for a Race Fit jersey?

MAAP uses one men's chart for all its jerseys: chest 94–100 cm is an M, for example (see the size guide). Race Fit jerseys are cut close and compressive, so they feel tighter than a Core Fit jersey in the same size, but MAAP does not tell you to size up. Its advice: between two sizes, take the smaller for a tighter fit or the larger for a looser one, and if chest and waist disagree, go by your chest.

Pro Air Jersey 3.0 or Pro Race Jersey?

Both are Race Fit. MAAP rates the Pro Air 3.0 higher for breathability ("Elite") and makes it lighter (110 g), so it is the pick for heat and climbing. The Pro Race Jersey (150–151 g) is built for speed on the flat and in the bunch: stretch-woven fabric, 3D textured sleeves and bonded details, with MAAP's "Race" aerodynamics rating against the Pro Air's "Performance".

Pro Aero Jersey or Pro Race Jersey?

Both carry MAAP's top "Race" aerodynamics rating and a Race Fit. The Pro Aero is the more specialised one: 100 g (MAAP), made from MAAP's micro-perforated AARTERO™ Flyte fabric developed with its WorldTour teams, with air-channelled sleeves optimised above 40 km/h. The Pro Race Jersey is heavier at 150–151 g and a little more of an all-rounder for hard training and races.

Race Fit

MAAP’s Race Fit: in MAAP’s words, “a body-mapped fit designed for maximum aerodynamic efficiency”. It is the tighter, more compressive of MAAP’s two fits and stays flat at speed; both fits use the same size chart.

Built for race efforts

MAAP designs the Pro Race Jersey for hard efforts, high-tempo training and race conditions, inspired by its WorldTour kit.

3D textured sleeves

Textured sleeves that MAAP says optimise airflow and reduce drag; its copy describes diamond-textured zones on a stretch-woven fabric to cut turbulence.

Light, quick-drying fabric

Lightweight fabrics that MAAP says increase breathability, moisture-wicking and quick drying for cooling.

Aero-optimised details

A low-profile neckline and bonded collar, sleeves and front hem, which MAAP calls aero-optimised details.

Bonded hem, back gripper

A bonded front hem and a gripper back hem add stability and comfort and reduce movement, MAAP says.

Rear pockets + zip stash

A streamlined rear pocket system that includes a secure zippered stash pocket.

Reflective graphics

Reflective graphics for 360° visibility, MAAP says.

MAAP: if you are on the borderline between two sizes, order the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit. If your chest and waist point to different sizes, go by your chest. MAAP uses this one chart for all its men's jerseys, Race Fit and Core Fit alike; its models (about 187 cm) wear a size S.

How to measure

Chest: around the fullest part, under the arms. Waist: around your natural waistline. Hips: around the fullest part. Keep the tape snug but not tight.

Description

MAAP's aero race jersey for fast riding on the flat and in the bunch: stretch-woven recycled polyester with 3D textured sleeves that MAAP says cut drag, bonded details and a Race Fit. MAAP lists 150–151 g and gives it its top "Race" aerodynamics rating. Eclipse, Solar and Void are capsule designs of this one jersey. For pure heat and climbing the lighter Pro Air 3.0 breathes better.
