Is the Evade Pro Base Jersey 2.0 a race fit or a relaxed fit?

Neither extreme. MAAP's own copy has called it both its signature Pro Fit and its Race Fit, with a contoured cut, a longer sleeve length and a low-profile collar, while its current product data lists it as Core Fit. In practice it is a close, contoured jersey that is not as compressive as MAAP's newest race pieces. Use the same size as in other MAAP jerseys.

Emerge Jersey or Evade Pro Base Jersey 2.0?

They are close relatives. MAAP lists the same fabric mix for both (70% recycled nylon/polyamide with 30% elastane in the Italian knit body, honeycomb mesh sleeves), the same internal zip pocket and reflective details. The Emerge adds what MAAP calls an upgraded bonded shoulder construction and is rated Race Fit; the Evade Pro Base 2.0 is listed as Core Fit on its product data, though its own card describes a Race Fit silhouette.

How does MAAP sizing run? Should I size up for a Race Fit jersey?

MAAP uses one men's chart for all its jerseys: chest 94–100 cm is an M, for example (see the size guide). Race Fit jerseys are cut close and compressive, so they feel tighter than a Core Fit jersey in the same size, but MAAP does not tell you to size up. Its advice: between two sizes, take the smaller for a tighter fit or the larger for a looser one, and if chest and waist disagree, go by your chest.
