What does the Air-Liner Road do?

It is a tubeless insert for road tyres. Its high-density polymer compresses under road pressures, so the tyre keeps its supple feel, and it locks the bead and prevents rim strikes at lower pressures — Vittoria says that means lower rolling resistance, a smoother ride and more traction. After a puncture it expands to fill the tyre and lets you ride up to 50 km (30 miles) as a run-flat. Vittoria says it weighs less than the sealant needed to mount the tyre.

Which Air-Liner Road size do I need?

Match it to your tyre width: S for 700x23–26 mm, M for 700x27–29 mm, L for 700x30–32 mm (the ranges on the article descriptions). The Air-Liner Road Tubeless Kit contains a pair of inserts, sealant and the installation pliers.
