What is the Corsa PRO Speed for?

Time trial and triathlon. Vittoria designed it specifically for those races: the tread tapers seamlessly into the sidewall, the Graphene + Silica compound is tuned for efficiency and the 320 TPI cotton-corespun casing is Vittoria’s finest, all electrically cured. Vittoria’s internal testing shows 5% better rolling performance and 2% lower weight; claimed weights are 235 g (700x26c), 250 g (700x28c) and 255 g (700x29c Wide Rim). For road races in all conditions the standard Corsa PRO is the all-rounder.

Corsa PRO or Corsa N.EXT?

Both use Vittoria’s Race Formulation Graphene + Silica compound; the difference is the casing. The Corsa PRO has a 320 TPI cotton-based casing — Vittoria’s most supple construction and its race-day tyre, which it calls the most winning road tyre it has made. The Corsa N.EXT uses a 100 TPI nylon casing with thicker threads that Vittoria built for durability, longevity and reliability, for racing and long training miles alike, with a compound mix tuned for extended durability. In tubeless form the N.EXT is a little heavier: 305 g against 280 g in 700x28c (Vittoria’s claimed weights). Race days: Corsa PRO. Training and everyday riding that should still feel fast: Corsa N.EXT.

Is the Vittoria Corsa PRO Speed Tubeless-Ready hookless compatible?

It depends on the size. Vittoria’s hookless compatibility table marks 700x28c, 700x29c Wide Rim, 700x30c as hookless compatible; 700x24c, 700x26c are not, so use those sizes on hooked rims. Check your rim maker’s limits and Vittoria’s ETRTO table of recommended rim widths on its product page.
