Barzo, Mezcal, Peyote or Torrente?

Pick by terrain. Barzo: coarse, loose and rocky ground — alternating centre knobs and moto-style shoulder knobs (Vittoria calls it World Championship proven). Mezcal: dry and mixed terrain — a continuous centre line for fast rolling with siped extensions for climbing and braking. Peyote: fine loose conditions — a low-profile alternating centre ribbon and Vittoria’s V-formation. Torrente: the muddiest, slickest trails — generous spacing that clears mud and progressive siping for grip on wet roots and rocks.

Is the Vittoria Torrente XC Trail hookless compatible?

Yes. Vittoria’s hookless compatibility table marks every size of the Torrente XC Trail as hookless compatible (29x2.4, 29x2.25, 29x2.6). Check your rim maker’s limits and Vittoria’s ETRTO table of recommended rim widths on its product page.
