racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

The layering foundation for riding in cool conditions, with long sleeves for full-arm thermoregulation and moisture management. The latest generation is lighter with a more versatile insulation gradient that adds warmth to critical areas and increases breathability. The new Spring Fall Skin Layer is 15% lighter than its predecessor. Despite those lost grams, it also has a more versatile construction, increased collar coverage, improved odorControl, and a more streamlined, body-mapped fit. The textile is woven tighter on the front panel to provide more insulation where warmth is critical. On the back and under the arms, a more open weave increases breathability and works to actively modulate your microclimate’s temperature, expelling excess body warmth to prevent overheating during full-gas efforts.
