racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

The sleeveless design eliminates layering bulk beneath second-skin, race-tuned jersey sleeves. The new textile blend creates a more elastic, body-wrapping shape for a better second-skin fit. The textile's more open structure also increases cooling airflow and breathability, and its permanent odor control doesn't diminish after washing. The deep collar shape mirrors the collar shape of regularFit endurance jerseys and low-collar, second-skin racingFit jerseys alike, and the raw-cut armholes eliminate material for low-volume layering.
