What is DMT’s Ice-Key tag?

An NFC chip in the left shoe of the Pogi’s Superlight, KR0 Evo Superlight and KM0 Evo. Through DMT’s app you store your personal and medical details (blood type, allergies, medication), documents and emergency contacts; in a crash, rescuers can read the chip to identify you, and the app can share your location when you send an SOS.

How does a knit upper fit — does it stretch?

DMT says its knit adapts naturally to the shape of the foot, and describes the KM30’s as a light-stretch knit, so it wraps closely like a sock rather than a stiff shell. Reviewers agree on the comfort but note the flip side: Cycling Weekly felt the KR1’s foot move slightly under hard efforts, and cycletechreview found the SH10 snug, in the slim Italian style. DMT publishes no advice to size up or down for knit — use the chart for your model. The hybrid SH10 and MH10 add a microfibre instep and heel for extra hold.

How does DMT sizing work — is it the same on every model?

Not exactly. DMT publishes a separate chart for each model, with a length in centimetres per EU size, and the lengths differ: EU 42 is 26.6 cm on the Pogi’s Superlight, 26.8 cm on the KR0 Evo Superlight, KR1 and KM0 Evo, 27.04 cm on the SH10, MH10 and KM30, and 26.5 cm on the IAAN Gravel. An ultralight Aeroflex knit on a nylon base, with a new yarn DMT says combines aerodynamics and strength. The light microfibre tongue makes entry easier even for high insteps, and a TPU band injected into breathable mesh stabilises the foot.

2 × BOA Li2 and Michelin carbon sole

Two BOA Li2 dials for quick multi-directional adjustment while riding, on a Dual Compound carbon sole made with Michelin: high-traction rubber lugs with Michelin’s patented slip-resistant block-siping and a variable tread that DMT says improves traction and water evacuation.

Ice-Key life-saver tag

The left shoe carries an NFC tag. In an emergency, rescuers can scan it to identify the rider and read medical data stored through DMT’s app (blood type, allergies, medication), plus emergency contacts and documents; the app can also share your location with an SOS.

Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark the tip of your longest toe and measure the distance in centimetres. Measure both feet and go by the longer one.
