Comfortfeel Classic, Soft or Tacky: which one?

All three are Fizik’s 3.5 mm Comfortfeel tape; the surface is the difference. Classic has a durable, perforated leather-like finish for a traditional look. Soft has a matte velvet finish that Fizik says wicks sweat and moisture and reduces slipping in the wet. Tacky has a non-slip, embossed tacky surface and a softer, more elastic single layer that wraps more easily and weighs less: 78 g vs 119 g for Classic and Soft.

Will 3.5 mm tape make my bars feel thicker?

Slightly — that is the idea. Fizik calls Comfortfeel the thickest tape in its range and says the 3.5 mm thickness increases handlebar diameter a little, spreading your weight over a wider grip to reduce numbness and fatigue on rough roads. If you prefer a slimmer, more direct feel, one of Fizik’s 2 mm tapes is the better choice.

How much tape is in the box?

Fizik says every bar-tape pack contains two rolls, one for each side of the handlebar, and each roll is 2350 mm long.

Comfortfeel

Fizik aims it at mixed-terrain riding: the extra thickness damps rough tarmac and gravel and slightly widens the grip to reduce hand numbness.
