Rubino Tubeless-Ready or Tube-Type?

Same modernised Rubino tread and Graphene + Silica compound on a 100 TPI nylon casing with an anti-puncture belt; the difference is the setup. The Tubeless-Ready version mounts with or without inner tubes and adds an Inner shield for air retention (sizes 26 to 32); Vittoria suggests pairing it with the Air-Liner Road insert for lower pressures. The Tube-Type is used with inner tubes only and is lighter on its own: 240 g against 330 g in 700x28c black (Vittoria’s claimed weights). Against their predecessors Vittoria claims 18% better rolling efficiency, 21% more puncture resistance and 10% less weight for the TLR, and 5%, 11% and 12% for the Tube-Type.

Zaffiro EVO, Rubino or RideArmor — which Vittoria training tyre?

All three are built for everyday miles; they differ in protection. Zaffiro EVO: Vittoria’s all-conditions training tyre, a folding tube-type with a 1C Graphene compound on a 60 TPI nylon casing. Rubino: the everyday performance tyre at the centre of Vittoria’s range, Graphene + Silica on a 100 TPI nylon casing with an anti-puncture belt, in Tubeless-Ready or Tube-Type. RideArmor: what Vittoria calls the toughest road tyre available, for year-round training and commuting — a 2C Graphene + Silica compound on a multi-layer 100 TPI casing with a Kevlar® bead-to-bead layer, the ArmorSkin sidewall and an Inner shield. In 700x28c black Vittoria claims 270 g (Zaffiro EVO), 240 g (Rubino Tube-Type), 330 g (Rubino TLR) and 375 g (RideArmor TLR).
