What is Assos’s Racing Series?

Assos files Equipe (men) and Dyora (women) in its Racing Series, which it describes like this: “The definitive speed series. Second-skin aerodynamic fits. Compressive thermoregulating textiles. Ultralight WorldTour-proven designs.” The series name is on every Assos product page, next to the product’s own 1–5 ratings for endurance, racing and ride intensity.

racingFit or regularFit — what’s the difference?

They’re Assos’s two main cuts. racingFit (Equipe and Dyora) is, in Assos’s fit guide, a close, performance-oriented fit with compressive fabrics for high-intensity riding — compared with regularFit it feels noticeably tighter by design. regularFit (Mille and Uma) is a balanced technical fit with moderately compressive fabrics: supportive without the tight feel of the Racing models. Assos uses the same size chart for both, so the difference is the feel, not the size.

How should I wash Assos cycling clothing?

Assos’s product pages don’t include care instructions, so follow the care label sewn into the garment. Assos sells its own Active Wear Cleanser, made for washing technical cycling clothing.

A combination of the new ADAMANT textile and the ultra-light Sens Air Plus create a dual-layer barrier. ADAMANT provides ultrasoft insulation against the body, while Sens Air Plus provides a durable, ultrabreathable, and temperature-modulating outer layer. The new VIPER textile wraps and supports with a 3D-rhombus texture, providing midweight insulation and high breathability with second-skin aerodynamics. STABILIZATOR V11 eliminates bounce from loaded pockets.

valveTec Diffusor

Dual valves on the shoulders shuttle airflow to regulate temperature during punchy efforts and pull moisture to maintain a dry microclimate.

A double construction that layers insulation below a softshell membrane, adding protection in crucial areas.
